Our 9 x 11 Wet/Dry Sheets are Silicon Carbide paper.
They have been used for many many years to smooth and cleanup fabricated precious metal
jewelry. Now with 800 and 1000 grits, you can get even finer finishes than with emery
polishing paper. Much cheaper too!

Fast Cutting abrasive is another 3M innovation! Micron Graded silicon carbide abrasive
coated over polyester film. This new product provides precise, consistently uniform, close
tolerance finishes. Consistent particle size allows you to move from step to step much
faster. And with less "back stepping due to odd scratches". The 9 micron belt is
aluminum oxide, this will produce a superior finish in the finer mesh sizes.
